Tokyo Disneyland Hotel: SHERWOOD GARDEN

We celebrated my good friend's  bday the weekend before we flew out for HK at SHERWOOD GARDEN Restaurant  inside this gorgeous hotel.

This gorgeous Victorian themed hotel sits adjacent to the entrance to Tokyo Disneyland Park. The hotel offers views overlooking the entire resort, and Tokyo Disneyland in particular, with subtle character touches throughout the hotel. The hotel is also the largest hotel in the property.

Sherwood Garden restaurant on the other hand, is an elegant american/japanese dining place which has a lovely enchanted forest feel about it. It is the signature buffet at the hotel, with beautiful views of the hotels' gardens and wedding pavilion.

The service was excellent as all of the waitstaff were quick to refill our water and remove our plates. We never felt rushed and they all tried their best to converse with us in english.

The person carving the roast beef would clean her cutting board immediately after serving. It was spotless. In fact, the whole buffet was spotless, as it was constantly being attended to by the waitstaff.

The buffet selection was decent, but let's face it, it wasn't the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars. The roast beef was tender and flavorful and there were deep fried shrimp and scallops. There were au gratin potatoes and a pilaf dish. There was a large selection of different salads and some interesting breads (carrot and daikon).
