Joe`s Crab Shack Orlando Florida

It's almost as if Joe's Crab Shack throws a net down the pier every so often to trap their crab, fish, shrimp, and of course, TOURISTS!

Nothing says Tourist Trap like a large seafood restaurant with an open bar and a dancing waitstaff. Food looks nothing like the picture you see on the menu and they are delivered to your table fresh from the freezer. But other than that, Joe's Crab Shack is awesome!

For really legitimate seafood, maybe Joe's not your cup of chowder. But if you're looking for a good time after a day of touristy things, Joe's your place!

Gourmet treats for Dogs

Last weekend hubby  insisted that we check the new pet mall annex which is on the same mall where mushee is having his weekly dog play dates. .  It was a hot day, I thought, why not pop in for a little air-conditioning for us both.

What a lovely surprise awaited us inside.  A full-on doggie bakery and gourmet goodness with adorable treats in the big case.  Mushee paced back and forth a few times in front of the bakery case, deciding on a squirrel cookie and a bikini girl cookie.  Makes sense for a boy dog, eh?

Human-grade ingredients, all listed so you can see what you're buying.  And a lovely lady behind the counter.  And Mushee who normally doesn't like most dog cookies, even the cute ones - LOVED them.  He devoured the squirrel head first, and bit the bikini girl in half.

We will definitely be back.  Fantastic experience and really nice store.  And a very cute version of the famous black velvet Dogs Playing Poker in the window.

Angel Stadium Anaheim Los Angeles

My family planned a trip to LA . It just so happened that our beloved Angels and hubby's all time favorite japanese player Matsui Hideki were in town and playing  for the Angels. We of course went, and had a blast. Our seats were on the club level. We had padded seats, a waiter, and a very good view.

The Angels  play at this beautiful ballpark and it is a must see venue for all baseball fans. The evenings in Anaheim are warm but not hot with a breeze that cools you off in the evening. Clean concourse and lots of foodie options.

Everyone around us in our section were great, and we all shared baseball stories. I've heard the crowds at Dodger Stadium can be a bit intense, but Angels Stadium has a family atmosphere great for kids. If it wasn't for the amazing mountain view in the distance, I might have thought I was back at a game at Tokyo Dome.

Universal Studios Orlando

Oh Universal... how I have a love/hate relationship with you.  There are so many fun things about you while at the same time, some things I just don't care for.  I don't feel this way about some other theme parks... but luckily the good stuff outweighs the bad.  Hence I continue to enjoy what you have to offer as i have completed visiting all your parks around the globe.

We didn't spend as much time in this Theme Park as we ended up spending in the much more fun for the family Universal's Islands of Adventure. We did enjoy what little we did explore, but yeah... we just found more things we were all interested in next door.

But , i find it ironic that the tickets for Universal Studios are $135 and then if you want a quick pass to the front of the line it costs an additional $47.  So, for the day it would be $182 per person!  Ouch - for the normal typical person in this economic turmoil there really should be no quick pass!

Manhattan Bridge New York

From such an iconic place as Manhattan Bridge you would expect something more. Much more. It's impossible to see the bridge itself while actually walking on the bridge.

We walked across it  on my last trip to NYC. This bridge looks impressive from a distance but  in my opinion not great to walk across, coz when walking across this one, consider you are walking on a 10' wide concrete walkway on the outside of the bridge and you feel the effect of the subway vibration whenever it comes across.

Super cool and awesome. the view point, angles, and scenery is stunning and the complex structure of the actual bridge is mind blowing. Must see in person to truly appreciate.

INSADONG SEOUL KOREA

Insadong wasn't exactly what I expected. (I was hoping to see hanoks and traditional buildings) Nonetheless, it was still a pleasant surprise to see a mix of old and new.

Yeap, touristy like there is no tomorrow, BUT I really loved Insadong and went back again for more photo ops of random shops and people, there`s starbucks written in korean characters which i was looking for.

Wandering the side streets is a good break from ultra modern Seoul. With few must see sights in this city InsaDong is a nice break and a view into old Seoul!

Mucho Modern Mexicano @ Marunouchi

We made a reservation at mucho mexicano a day prior for toni's bday dinner.... and this is probably one of the best "high end" Mexican restaurants in the city that I've been to.

There's plenty of amazing cheap Mexican eats to choose from, but this place provides an excellent dining and bar experience for those choosing to go to a more upscale route .

Now to the food. They have extremely unique tacos and skewers to choose from, which I love! I am pretty adventurous when it comes to food so I am always intrigued to try new things.

I  do recommend to make a  reservation before you go because it was super crowded.  Also it is a little pricy so just keep that in mind, but it is really good!!

Happy burpday dear toni.....!!!!

Victoria Peak (THE Peak) Hongkong

The first time i visited peak in 2010 we were not able to enjoy it to the fullest because of bad weather  so the view was obscured as the smog was thick..... but this time we were lucky enough to score a relative clear sky.

You can walk around and take a lot of great pictures from almost every corner.Awesome views of Hong Kong Harbour and Kowloon looking north, as well as Repulse Bay facing south can be seen from up here.

While inside the peak tower there are shops and restaurants with great views that caters to tourist needs.

Worth spending the whole evening and concluding with dinner.

Pier 39 Fisherman`s Wharf San Francisco

I LOVE this tourist trap.  Im a tourist at San Francisco so why would I not love it? you can trap me in here all you want!

I'm not exactly sure why, but I love this place. I just love sitting around and enjoying the views. You have alcatraz island, the sea lions, the performers, the wooden structure, and the crowds. You can drain a lot of money quickly but you can also buy a tea or coffee and just enjoy yourself.

From the wharf itself ,excellent views of San Francisco Bay from west to east, as you can see the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, Alcatraz Island, Treasure Island, and the Bay Bridge.  Therefore, this is a good place to knock out all of these popular vistas from one spot
