A TASTE OF SEOUL KOREA

Seoul is a city steeped in the past yet anxious to embrace modernity, and this makes it one of Asia's most interesting and culturally vibrant destinations. From food, galleries, ancient palaces, museums, and shopping, this city has it all.

So for our birthday trip, hubby and I decided to spend it in Seoul Korea... Its roughly a 2 hours flight from Tokyo, a very convenient way to spend our weekend indeed...

Seoul is often described as a cultural melting pot, and nowhere is this more evident than in the vast array of traditional and fusion food in Seoul Korea that my hubby and I both enjoyed...
I am always amazed at how creative the Koreans can get with their food cart businesses.

Samgyetang- Ginseng chicken soup.... the best and the healthiest in that steaming bowl

korean version of nabe.... this is seafood nabe but octopus is as freshest ever

 banchang -kimchi

these are actually ice creams just hanging there...

yes its a bit pricy but worth all the fuss

more banchan before our main dish
