MACAU

Macau is definitely worth a day or overnight trip.It is much more than casinos with great food and wine, and interesting architecture. But then while it is certainly possible as a day trip, I would highly recommend doing it as an overnight trip during the week. The reason is that hotels in Macau are often better value than their equivalents in Hong Kong. Also, Macau has some great restaurants, so staying overnight gives you more time to sample some of the delicious food and wine, without worrying about a choppy late night ferry ride home.

We hopped on an earlier sail to Macau from Hongkong at around 8am that day and arrived macau 1 hour later. You can take ferry either by First Ferry (China Ferry Terminal - Tsim Sha Tsui), or by Turbojet or Cotaijet (shun tak Ferry Terminal- Sheung Wan)

There's plenty of things to see in Macau that's free. You can hotel-hop, go to Senado Square, museums, fisherman's wharf, temples, forts, etc. Macau is definitely worth going to.

Will post more on the things we did while in Macau....
