SKY GRILL RESTAURANT @ ASAKUSA VIEW HOTEL

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at this restaurant for Jec`s bday treat. The views of Tokyo were excellent and it was worthwhile moving around the restaurant to see the views from each side of the dining areas.

Had their  full lunch buffet which includes both the salad and hot entree tables.  It was the best salad bar I've seen in ages ... sweet potato, quality greens, cucumbers, pasta salad, table grapes and one of the best balsamic vinaigrette`s I've had at a restaurant.

Desserts are meh...bread pudding without sauce, butter mochi, brownies, fruit and almond float.  Nothing to write home about.  I would say that that butter mochi is the best of the lot.

Happy burpday Jec... Thanks for the hearty treat!!!!

CAFFE@ HYATT REGENCY TOKYO

Had a lunch reservation here to celebrate mine and Matthew`s bday using my coupon from welbox.

I am sad to say, I was a little disappointed with the buffet .... It is beautiful and clean, but it really didn't seem to have much of a selection compared to other buffets at its price point.

Everything I sampled was good, but nothing really wowed me. I think if there's   one item that made me want to go back and get a second helping  of ...... its  their delicious meat carvings.

The pasta station was a nice touch, and I enjoyed the shrimp and bacon Alfredo dish the chef whipped up for me, and I definitely enjoyed the cinnamon bread pudding.

The thing I like the best is that that they have a great menu of drinks you can order which was included in the price. You're not pinned down to the usual orange or pineapple juices. You can order anything off of the list! their smoothies are delicious.

This is definitely a more expensive venture for lunch so I'd stick to special occasions for this place. But, dang, definitely a good time in a beautiful restaurant with my beautiful friends.

SHERATON GRANDE TOKYO BAY HOTEL

Grand Cafe's buffet at this hotel is awesome on weekends for the their surf and turf night.  And we went to this place to celebrate  hubby`s bday.

I load my plate up with sweet delicious lambs, and sirloin steaks They have oysters, clams, sushi, and all sorts of other standard buffet items. I've tried a variety of things, the mac and cheese, the prime rib, mashed potatoes, and they have an asian section with sweet and sour chicken, rice, wontons etc.

We had a good experience here, hence the 5 stars. Some people won't have a good experience here, which I understand. You have to be very hungry to enjoy a buffet, and get your money's worth. Otherwise you'll pick at a few things here and there, and you won't eat well.

The Grand Pacific le daiba Hotel

Its my bffl vicky's and my fsil ariane's bday and i wanted to surprise them a day after their special day. So the first place that came to mind is this adjacent hotel to odaiba station where they're getting off.

We were pleasantly surprised to walk in to such a beautiful hotel with gorgeous ambiance.

The combination of a sensory satisfying buffet spread and elegant service made it one of the best hotel dining experience ive ever had.

Happy bday ariane and vicky!!!!

TOKYO STATION HOTEL

The old but recently refurbished Tokyo Station Hotel is a fantastic hotel in central Tokyo Chiyoda Ward. JR-trains and the Tokyo subway are found just beneath the hotel building and the Imperial Palace with it's beautiful Hibiya garden is just a few blocks away. On the other side of the tracks is Ginza located within a walking distance. Even though this is in central Tokyo the atmoshere is very calm an quiet.

There are so many shopping malls within walking distance through underground paths. The Tokyo First Avenue is in walking distance where  characters street, ramen street gransta can be found.

Despite the hotel being in the busy location of Tokyo, you can find it as very pleasant and quiet escape from the daily grind of busy Tokyo.

FOGO Samba @ The Venetian Macau

The likes of Fogo churrascaria restaurant is something you enjoy best by starving yourself for a day ahead of time. Scratch breakfast, scratch lunch, and just drink water to prepare your body for the endless meat craftsmen begging to drop more tender, well-seasoned protein on your plate.

If you've been to other Brazilian churascarria type restaurant, then you know this is an all out meat buffet in skewers. The waiters bring skewers of whole meats to your table and slice of slices to your request.

Want a more rare piece from the center, no problem. Want a thick slice, no problem. It's all you can eat sirloin, ribs, pork, chicken, tenderloin and all marinated differently so there are different tastes and flavors.

The one downside to all this is that the starter buffet could have better selections. It's mainly salads, cured meats and cheeses. But hey, you're really there for the bbq meats and the company of your favorite people

I went in with low expectations and Fogo Samba actually beat them, so bravo on that !!!
