Harry Potter World is actually one cobbled street that features a castle, a wand shop, a sweet shop, a magical joke shop, a restaurant, three rides and a gazillion of people lining up. It is not large, but there is no question that there’s something bewitching about the place. The scene seems pulled out of the J.K. Rowling books. To be honest, it almost feels like you are shuffling about in a pop-up version of the books … assuming that the pop-up book was placed in Orlando Universal Studios
This Wizarding World instantly casts a spell on you once you enter the grounds. The streetscape is remarkably realistic and magical while the castle is truly mesmerizing in the distance.
The attention to detail is outstanding! There is so much to see everywhere you look! We made sure to check every little thing out!
Say yes to butter beer - this was delicious but a little on the sweet side. The frozen version was something similar to a caramel/butterscotch milkshake/icee. I can't speak for the non-frozen version. It's also not a cheap snack (frozen is about $5), but it's fun and delicious on a hot day.
Say No to the Chocolate Frog - the chocolate frogs in the candy shop look fun, but they aren't worth it. Not only are they $10, the frog is simply a large lump of cheap-tasting, very hard chocolate. It's not very good at all (and the price is ridiculous).
I enjoyed my time here; it was everything a Harry Potter fanatic like myself could hope to dream of...more than the multi-million dollar rides, more than the authentic butterbeer or the cauldron made of chocolate, more than the remarkable effects in the castle, and more than anything —
I'm pulling the days when I can visit the one in London and soon in Osaka for the revamped Harry Potter attraction...
