THOUGHTS ON DATING AFTER MARRIAGE

 

At least once a week we still go out on dates...Dating shouldn't stop with marriage!!!

When you were single, dating was a time to get away alone, to talk, laugh, and have fun together. You took time to learn more about each other, about your past and your dreams for the future. But here's the deal: Now that you're married, you need to do the same thing! You need to get away alone and continue to talk, laugh, and have fun together! You need to learn more about each other! And that's why dating shouldn't stop with marriage.

First things first - your spouse needs to come to the top of your priority list - just a bubble behind Jesus. You need to give your spouse priority access to your time - instead of just the leftovers. Priority time for your spouse means occasional date nights and getaway weekends. These type of events need to be planned ahead of time, of course, because if you wait until the last minute, you may have trouble fitting them into your busy life. But priority time also means smaller time slots each day, such as having dinner together, taking a brief walk, spending time talking, playing a game, or watching a favorite program together.

Don't stop dating just because you went on a couple of dates and your partner seems to be appeased. Or because you think you've done enough to get out of your rut. Or because you think you've run out of ideas. Be creative! Your dates don't have to be expensive or elaborate, they just need to be. You and your spouse need special times together. That's what dating is all about. It should never stop! So keep on dating!

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN

It is smaller than Tokyo Disneyland, but much more action-packed attractions for those who love it.

I personally really enjoy taking pictures with the characters, although sometimes you have to queue especially for Woody Woodpecker. I tried to search for Pink Panther but failed. Looking for Snoopy but he was busy taking pricey shots with the kids, so no free photos.

All of the rides were great but I have to admit the E.T. ride was quite funny because E.T. obviously spoke Japanese. We had a great time and would definitely return.

HOLYWOOD

We absolutely wanted to see the Hollywood walk of fame, however we were kind of disappointed. Driving on the first part of the Hollywood boulevard, we made sure the doors and windows were closed, as the surrounding were not giving a very safe feeling (and that's weird as I normally almost never feel uncomfortable).

Arriving mid-boulevard, where it's all supposed to happen. Parking in a 10$ a day parking, we managed to see a few of the stars we wanted to see, taking care that our back packs would not be emptied meanwhile.

I'm glad my husband and I decided to see the Walk of Fame and surrounding location and I'm glad we devoted exactly 45 minutes to it.. This was about all I could tolerate of the experience. There were large tour groups of people not paying attention to where they are walking, too many panhandlers shouting across the street, and really not enough to do. Seeing Graumann's Chinese Theater was neat from the outside, but the tour seemed very expensive.

Over alI I was disappointed. It is so much better seeing it in pictures and in movies but far crying from the reality I witness.  The city of LA really need to clean up this street. For being such a famous street l couldn't believe how dirty it was. The tiles in some place were all broken. It was just a mess. ... The only thing i love there are the shops like forever 21 and Victoria secret.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD

I was so excited about going here and it did not disappoint. They cater for everything and everyone, young and old. These are my hot tips - Get there early, take sunscreen, dont forget to drink water are there is so much running around, be aware that it is a 2 layered park so you need to take a long escalator down for the second half of the attractions.

The trams seat 6 people abreast so if you are in the middle of this row then expect to see and take pictures of almost nothing as the bars, roof and people on the tram block your views. Most of the stuff to see happened on the left side of the tram which keeps moving almost all the way round so picture opportunities are limited. Why in a climate like theirs they have to put a roof on these trolleys i don't know. It is more like a theme ride as you pass through the studio sets quite quickly and move onto King Kong 3d, Earthquake, Mummy and Jaws "rides".

for royalties i guess!!! lol.. On recommendation from a friend we purchased the Front of The Line passes, fantastic and I would highly recommend getting these. We were able to skip the lines and priority seating at all attractions.
