We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at this restaurant for Jec`s bday treat. The views of Tokyo were
excellent and it was worthwhile moving around the restaurant to see the
views from each side of the dining areas.
Had their full lunch buffet which includes both the salad and
hot entree tables. It was the best salad bar I've seen in ages ...
sweet potato, quality greens, cucumbers, pasta salad, table grapes and
one of the best balsamic vinaigrette`s I've had at a restaurant.
Desserts are meh...bread pudding without sauce, butter mochi,
brownies, fruit and almond float. Nothing to write home about. I would
say that that butter mochi is the best of the lot.
Happy burpday Jec... Thanks for the hearty treat!!!!
Our Seaworld ticket came included with our purchase for discovery cove and I
tell you it was sooooo worth it going after discovery cove it was a
long day but we made it in time for the dolphin show, the fun rides
and the seaworld finale it was an AMAZINGGG day.
Shamu Show during the day is incomparable to its night counterpart. There is water shooting around the pool while
the show is going on. If you sit in the Splash zone, these water jets
obstruct the actual orca show.
Get there just for opening & you will be able to ride Manta just like us without
long queuing times. I also recommend feeding the dolphins as you are able to
touch them too. It's $7 plus tax for one tray of fish (approx 4 small
fish) kids small & big love it.
Flamingos walk about as do other
birds which make great photo opportunitues. The dolphin & killer
whale shows are a must but get there around 20 mins before show time to
get a seat, earlier if you want to sit in the soak zone.
Turtle trek is a
3d experience & you alse get to see the sea turtles. The empire
penguin is a simulation ride i recommend the wild ride as its more fun
than mild. Be warned though at the end of the ride you get to see the
penguins in freezing conditions.
We finished the day with a whale of a show starring Shamu and seeing
sharks. Finally we had a bit of shopping to round the day out. This was a
great park! I hope you will have as much fun as we did!
Had a lunch reservation here to celebrate mine and Matthew`s bday using my coupon from welbox.
I am sad to say, I was a little disappointed with the buffet .... It is beautiful and clean, but it really didn't seem to have much of a selection compared to other buffets at its price point.
Everything
I sampled was good, but nothing really wowed me. I think if there's
one item that made me want to go back and get a second helping of
...... its their delicious meat carvings.
The
pasta station was a nice touch, and I enjoyed the shrimp and bacon
Alfredo dish the chef whipped up for me, and I definitely enjoyed the
cinnamon bread pudding.
The
thing I like the best is that that they have a great menu of drinks you
can order which was included in the price. You're not pinned down to
the usual orange or pineapple juices. You can order anything off of the
list! their smoothies are delicious.
This is definitely a more expensive venture for lunch so I'd stick to special occasions
for this place. But, dang, definitely a good time in a beautiful restaurant with my beautiful friends.
