MOON CAFE

Prior to this trip, Ive been browsing travel blogs about cebu and Moon Cafe is always on blogger`s top list when dining in cebu. So for our first night in Cebu, we went to Moon Cafe at Ayala terraces.

hungry?
we are all hungry... so we ordered a little bit of all this.

WATERFRONT HOTEL CEBU CITY

Yes we are staying at Waterfront Hotel Cebu City. After so many days of deliberation mama won. She wanted to experience waterfront, so no deliberations needed we gave in to our mother's wish.

... hence the happy face

... and poses

here she is loving her queen size bed

and of course the view from her room

We stayed for 3 nights here while in Cebu and moving to the next hotel of my choice this time...Life is fair after all.

FLIGHT TO CEBU

Im ecstatic to fly Cathay pacific again to Cebu after a 4 days side trip with family in Hongkong and Macau. Im soooooo looking forward to what's store for us in Cebu.

Hongkong Airport

my ride to cebu

RAMEN IN HONGKONG

Ramen is a daily thing for us in Tokyo. Anywhere you go theres a ramen place. So while traveling to Hongkong, we chance upon this ramen place near temple street that Mama and bro wants to try.

is she ready to dig in?

a closer look of her tonkutsu ramen... she was able to finish a whole bowl.. it must be good or shes just hungry from all the walking

my hearty bowl of tonkutsu ramen

The Verdict: Well, its close to the authentic thing in Japan. Though I havent tried their miso broth ramen. But Im more than satisfied with my bowl.

THE PEAK TRAM-HONGKONG

This is the only ride I really wanted to miss while in the Peak. But i was overpowered by two so I gave in. Oh noh!! i fear for my dear life and having to go through a close to 90 degree angle slope of this old tram while seated with no seatbelt. What the heck!!! But dear life was of course save from over exagerration... lol

the tram ride

they can still smile while I want to pee in my pants

i cant give justice to the angle were in

mama: di naman pala nakakatakot>>> (not scary at all) bravo mama!!! too bad you have an over exagerated freak daughter.hehehehehe

Bubba Gump @ The Peak

I first saw Bubba Gump resto when we were at Santa Monica pier in LA. But wasnt able to try it  while in LA. So when I had the oportunity to visit one of its branch in Hongkong, i was delectably delighted. lol...

cozy cowboy feel

oh yeah!!

while waiting for our orders..

finally,..... (drools)

caught in the act while rummaging  mama's plate of dixie style baby back ribs

a closer look of that heavenly thing...

the resto is supposed to have a good view of Hongkong... grrr to this thick fogs

Never mind the good view, as long as we had a filling and delectable meal and of course a happy stomach.

MADAMME TUSSAUDS- HONGKONG (DAY 2)

I've been to other Madame Tussauds locations in the past, like hollywood and Tokyo and this one in  Hongkong is fairly new when went there with my mom and brother. And when it's sometimes hard to find celebrities out in public, coming to the wax museum comes close to seeing the real thing.

Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is located at the Peak Tower and I highly recommend buying the packaged ticket which includes the entry fee and also the tram fees, it would be quite pricey if you pay everything separately for a moderately-sized attraction.

You can actually get up close to these wax figures and have lots of fun. Very interactive exhibits, though the museum itself seems smaller than these other locations.

One can tell how much effort and time is invested in each of the celebrity figures.  Guests are welcome to touch and take pictures which completes the experience.  Naturally there is expected wear and tear on a daily basis - incredibly each figure looks fresh and ready to entertain everyday!
