BRUSSELS- the BELGIAN capital

Our first night in brussels was already eventful on its own. From a rerouted flight to an unknown airport 2 hours away from the city, to hailing a cab and riding a bus to get to the city around midnight with luggage's in tow in an unforgiving weather.

But that didnt dampen our spirit and excitement to explore this promising city the next day.

Our hotel is just a mere minute walk away to the famous Grand Place. This is one of the most impressive sites to see while in Brussels. A busy square with some fantastic architecture to admire. And not far from some of the best chocolate shops too!

We also happened to come across this fantastic little place near Grand Place, and saw them making fresh waffles and decided to try one.

We order two to share but it was so good that we had 2 more after the first one :)

The best waffle that i have ever had was at this place, definitely not to be missed.

My selection: Waffle with Choclate (nutella) and covered with pistachio dullop ice cream and bananas with some whipped cream on the side with little sprinkles.

It is a piece of heaven :)

The good this is that unlike most waffle places you see around Grand Place, this one has a warm cozy sitting area inside so you can really enjoy what you are eating. Dont go by the name, the place should be called Waffle Land...
