WASHINGTON DC- NATIONAL MALL

Last summer, i used my trip to the east coast to visit two cities- NEW YORK and WASHINGTON DC...

Because of its status as the seat of the government, D.C. boasts more landmarks than any city in the country save New York. 

 The Heart of DC. The National Mall stretches 2 miles, starting at the Capital building to the Lincoln Memorial. So many Monuments and museums in between.It is such a beautiful place but be prepared for a  long walk around the mall but with excellent photo opportunities everywhere you look.

I stand next to the Washington monument and can see all the way to the Capitol. While there’s not a lot to do on the mall itself, it’s still a cool and iconic view

The National Mall is wondrous in every way. It sparks Pride, reflection, somberness, excitement and inclusiveness! but a tip for visiting is bring a water bottle, umbrella, good walking shoes and proper socks along with an open mind.

 

WICKED SHOW NEW YORK CITY

 Ahhh where to start?? - what an AMAZING show!! I absolutely loved the story and how it was creatively connected with The Wizard of Oz. The stage was absolutely breathtaking. The lights, props, they way they would use the stage from left to right, changing from scene to the next.

I was also close enough to see all the facial expression on the actors/actresses. And  the actors and actresses, their energy and enthusiasm was incredible. In fact, I still can't figure out how the flying monkey actors moved, climbed and jumped across the stage.

I was thoroughly entertained throughout the entire performance and the storyline evoked a lot of different emotions. From start to finish, the attention to detail (the acting, music, noises, props and stage) was amazing. I can't say enough great things about this play, you need to see it for yourself!

 

Seafood Market Marukami Dining

Went to this place for  Vicky's pre-birthday impromptu treat.  And little did i know that i was in for a big treat to my happy place...the world of SASHIMI

The sashimi set platter here is humongous  and fabulous! Fresh, fresh, fresh! But it's not for beginners or those who rely on California rolls and other combination of maki rolls. This is the real thing!

 This place is undeniably good and there are so many other good restaurants next to it too. 

NIAGARA FALLS

A beautiful wonder that everyone must see at least once. Bucket list bucket!! list bucket list! CHECKED!!!

Wonderful view that takes your breath away and will make you appreciate God`s work in total amazement. We took the Maid of the Mist boat tour @$18.25 to be able to  stare at the glorious raging waters gushing down at its rapid gravitational pull into the plunging waters below. 

Niagara Falls is just an awe inspiring experience. Its amazing to just be that close to something that is so naturally grand and powerful.
